With over two decades of experience in Nepali journalism, I currently serve as the editor of www.tukhabar.com, managed by State Vision. My career encompasses a diverse range of roles across monthly, weekly, and daily newspapers in Nepal. I have also gained valuable experience in radio and television, leading editorial departments in various media outlets.
Notably, I held the position of sub-editor at Naya Patrika, one of Nepal’s prominent national dailies, and served as a senior sub-editor at Sourya Daily in Kathmandu. My contributions to radio include significant roles at Radio Sagarmatha, Shakti FM, Radio Paschimanchal, and Radio Sarobar.
My dedication to journalism has been recognized through several awards, including the Youth Journalism Award from the Press Council of Nepal for my contributions to the field, as well as the Public Service Award (President Medal) from the Government of Nepal in 2078 JANA SEWA SHREE. Additionally, I have received accolades such as the Education Journalism Award, Active Youth Journalism Award, Kantipur Journalism Award, and the Outstanding Activist Award on the Right to Information, among others. These honors continue to inspire my active engagement in journalism and my commitment to social issues.
I have authored research books related to journalism, including *Makawanpure Media: History and Review*, *Media in Makawanpur*, and *Bajjika Language and Media*. My opinion pieces on journalism and contemporary issues are regularly published in Nepali newspapers and online media, reflecting my ongoing engagement with critical dialogues in the field.
